My FamilyHere we all are. Our family. Autism is just part of our daily lives. It isn't something that will go away ,so we just embrace it when we can, hate it when we want to, and just make the most of it and live our lives as best we can with it. We do not ask why us? We've come to accept, why not us. Maybe there was a higher purpose in Nick being autistic. After all, I am one of the founding members of the Grace Foundation and seven years later it is now providing support services to over 800 families! I am currently a special education teacher who teaches guess who.... autistic preschoolers in there homes and in mainstream preschool classes. So, you see maybe there is good reason for all this after all. Nicholas is a blessing to our family as are our other children. They all have a special gift. They are my heart and soul..the gas in my engine so to speak.. so thank you all for your support.. It is greatly appreciated.!
