the BIG things in my life....and anybody that knows me, knows that they are the joys in my heart, the love's of my life...and the blessings that surround me...honestly, i must admit, i was prompted to write this blog post after reading kims (my bff's) blog...i must take/make the time...for the things that are important to me....i have been scrapping some at times, and then it becomes more non-existent...i NEED/WANT desperately for some organizational help.....i avoid the area because of the mess...so i avoid it...lol i have all the pages cut, and ready to bind Ali Edwrds December Daily album....excited, have some Hambly overlays, beautiful flocked pages & i am thinking and still struggling with my cover...will post some pics, once i start assembling it....

had such a great time with my sister & the boys.....they are always excited when she comes to down....YES.......she spoils THEM both MORE than I do.....didn't think it was possible....but it is the truth....went to Bobby Flay's new burger place...LOVED the burgers....sweet potato fries, onion rings to die for....definitely NOT a place to watch the calories you are consuming.....BUT it was worth it....

last lo of the day to share..... a very special layout for me....always wanted to take the boys to NYC......finally got the courage to just do it....we had a blast....took the subway....St. Patricks Cathedral....Macys.... Saks... Rockefeller Center....Garretts popcorn......and then as a surprise for my boys....dinner at ESPN zone....let me put a thought in your mind........ December 20th, 2008...24 degrees outside...BITTER COLD....we go into to have dinnner....45 minute wait....okay....enjoy dinner...I ate with gloves on...it was so COLD in there...NOT the best dinner...but the look on my kids face was PRICELESS.... to be at the center of it all.....so worth FREEZING my patooties off.....come outside after dinner...and there is 2 1/2 inches of snow on the ground....5 days before Christmas....in the middle of Times Square....just one of those little things in life.....i call it LETTING go of FEARS.....you can call it anything you want....but it pulled at my heartstrings.....ciao....C

it has been 1 year to the day....my heart aches everyday....more than some NEED to know...BUT if you know me...you will understand this post...it never gets easier.....i am happy...i am at peace...i have learned to live and like myself...all in the same breath...and it FEELS GOOD....

on a lighter note......
they are definitely the kewlest....SWEETEST boys i know.... and they are STILL loving their MOMMA unconditionally.....i have no clue WHY i deserve them....BUT they are MINE.....the first 2 are the boys on Sea Watch Beach in Manasquan, NJ and the last one...is at the Belmar Marina....i have NOT scrapped for what seems like a dogs age.....willl get back to living life...scrappin...and staying at PEACE within myself shortly....love stayin' in the slow lane for now...and seeing where life will take me....looking forward to seeing Kim...at my BIL's memorial on July 25th in Staten Island....always a FUN time when we are together....life is good....they are MANY UPHILL battles for me to climb.....ciao for now...c

opening day of baseball season...ryan is the pitcher and the catcher... and ty plays outfield...i am extremely thankful that Jeff (their caoch) gives them all the encouragement they need...and pushes them harder each time.... tyler got his first HIT....in a game anyway...it was so cute... i don't think he even knew he hit the ball...jeff told him to run and he did...ryan struck everyone out....they WON the game 7-4...it was a sweet day....tyler got a winning game BALL.....the other winner of a game ball was John C. for his in the PARK grand slam....HOMERUN....

as i saw you lay there...it did not seem real....it was over-whelming....but you would have been happy joe joe...you filled the place...they waited to see you... they over-flowed the parking lot....they came to see the man we all loved....they all knew the man we loved....and they were not even related to you...i got to know you...see your quirky side....yes..even at times allow you to drive me crazy....you were so flip with life...you saw it so easy...i still wonder why someone had to make it so hard for you to rest....after all that was all you wanted....i know you loved my family just like you loved your own...i saw your family sob... for the man you were....i knew how much they loved you....the flowers that poured into the place...the shapes of the flowers...a football...a baseball with your number on it....and of course....the NY Yankee logo....oh joe joe...you would have been amazed by it all....and you would have loved it all....if only you could have been there.....really been there.....i know your spirit was there....but that was not enough for my selfish side......i wanted you to make me laugh...i wanted you to give lisa one last hug...i want you to tell the boys about the cheerleaders with the boobs... i will always miss you joe-joe....i just wish the tears would stop....i could never tell the world enough about what an awesome person you were....but joe joe...always remember you filled the place....that will not take my pain away but it will make you smile....

it started out as this photo collage....

and then turned into this....it has gone to so many places....the tears...the reason for the new song...the clueless, bizarre, erratic behavior that i have with life right now....there is guilt associated with it all... the words that i need to express that i find so hard to...my brother-in-law Joe is still in NYU....today he underwent neurosurgery...let me just catch you all up to date...about 1 1/2 weeks ago...he had a seizure and was put on life support....he came off the ventilator...but complained of pain in his head...after countless CAT scans and MRI's the lymphoma...the cancer that he has.... has spread to his brain....they found 2 lesions...one on his occiput...and one on his parietal lobe....so fast-forward to last week and the neurosurgeon waltzes in to say that he needs a shunt to relieve the swelling....and also to give him chemo.....to his brain.....yesterday my sister ... lisa...called me crying to say that they decided to take Joe home on hospice....that was the first phonecall...then about 2 hours later....she called back to say that joe wants to have the surgery...he is 100% with it....the neurosurgeon explained that there is only a 10% chance of helping him....fast forward again to my feelings of today...when i am at a complete loss....just because she is my sister...it is not easier...it actually makes it 10x harder....the only thing that i know...is the courage of this man...the love that he has for her....makes me smile...i am glad ...that my sister is able to experience that joy....i wish i had the feeling from another human being like that....am i jealous...absolutely not...i question why he was given this dreaded disease...i question why the man upstairs had to do this to my sister... now...don't get me wrong...i am NOT a mean & vicious person...there is not another human being on this planet...that i would want this to happen too... well i would wish this on someone if it would make my sister heal...i would wish it on them... if it could take my pain away....nothing will...i am saddened by that....i have yet to journal this page....the tears will not allow me to yet....i will in time...i will when the man upstairs makes this right...

yes, i changed it... i still feel blessed....but sometimes...i need to relinquish myself...i cannot do it all on my own... sometimes...i wish i had help...sometimes life is hard and it sucks....i get tired of explaining things....it seems like WHY...WHY...WHY... and i want to scream just because....love these pics and wanted to share....i do not have one child i have 2...the other one just does not like to smile.... this one thinks he is a model....lol! i will find one of the other one! As of this update...imagine that 3-4 in one day.....my sister just called to say that Joe was being admitted...his last CT & PET scan stated that he is ACTIVE cancer FREE...i am hopeful...he still has to endure....2 more rounds of chemo....radiation and then bone marrow chemo...i feel for him...i wish i could make his pain go away...i wish i could help my sister....i am glad i realized that she is such a fighter...i never knew how strong she is....i am elated that they have each other...but am deeply saddened by the whole thing....ciao C

well it seems as it has been forever that i have updated my blog...but for those of you that know me... in the real world... you know that i love to write..and i am going to try & make more time to do it...so the things that I refuse to do???? that is to make little tear bears to make extra money to sell on Ebay.....YES, i realize they go for BIG bucks....but there are just some things a girl cannot do...well if the choice was to eat from a garbage can and making lil tear bears...i would do it...... i could resort to that...but that is not the case yet... so I made these up...just some quick little gifts and NOTHING...not even my BOO book

and my heart breaks for them....for the love they have for each other....for the life they share....and the bond they have created.....this is my sister lisa and her husband Joe....joe was diagnosed the week of his 48th birthday with gamma delta t-cell lymphoma....he has undergone 2 rounds of chemo and it is questionable whether he will also need radiation....lisa & joe have no kids...they have shared custody of mine...lol....all of the spoiling none of the responsibility....they love ry and ty like they are their own....and i am grateful for the time they spend together...please send out some prayers....i have had about all i can take.....love you guys immensely.....

so i am thinking that he has had a great day...on his birthday...we went out to dinner at Red Robin....yes, they did sing to him...these pics are actually from Memorial Day...we are out in the yard...i try to sway him...he folds easily...in exchange for him teaching me how to throw & catch a baseball.....warning... i would not want myself on your team....lol!..he takes the camera and this is what i see...when i load them onto my computer screen...i am pleasantly in awe....of how my ten year old captured these of me......nice job ry....

always wonder where the time has gone...it seems like just yesterday that i was 176 lbs.... and miserably pregnant...that was 9 months of sheer torture... now don't get me wrong...i would not trade my kids for anything in the world...just would take away the whole 9 months of developing especially in my body...i had no physical ailments per se....just felt short of breath all the time........back to the firstborn turning ten thing...and the title of my blog....how they fit....together.....the men in my life...these 2 kids...these amazing creatures...it is the strangest thing to have a part of your heart walking around outside of your body...who knew their smiles would light up my life...who knew they would be so adorable...who knew they were gonna love their mommy...unconditionally...it is just one of those things...they love me in good times and bad...they tell me i look pretty even when i have my pj's on....they can fight one minute and three seconds later....hug & make up...they love playstatioin 3.....nintendo DS...ice cream....swimming in the pool.......they love me when i wake up in the morning....they are mad when i tell them no.....but they still love me...unconditional love...............an amazing experience...if you have never tried it....you should...some thoughts for today........life is not always fair....make the best of what you have been given....cherish the little things in life....always thank the ones you love....there will always be differences...you make all the decisions...which leads me to the changing of the song on my blog....i have become quite wishy-washy....as of late...but it kinda goes back to the same thing....of feeling 100% absolutely blessed....in my life...i may not have it alll...but i have more than enough to get by...and that is more than enough for me.....ciao...c

so while in atlantic city....we go & browse the pier shops...gucci...coach...will dh EVER really believe that i turned down a $700.00 COACH bag... i was like ...oh my lordy...kim thought i should just get it... i pondered for one second in time....i....... PASS... :O( it was close though....then we head straight into this bad boy of a store....kim buys a necklace for herself... and then turns back to the salesgirl....and says can you fit skinny here for a bracelet.. while the salesgirl...says she is probably the standard size...... omg my favorite friend in the WHOLE world...enjoying tiffanys and she wants to buy me a gift....i am happy & elated to have her as my friend...i am thankful for the friendship we have...thankful for always being able to make me pee my pants....thankful for the joy she brings into my life....what a day....and it ain't even my b-day yet........:O) a lil story about the next picture....it is actually taken with me outside the store.... after i snapped it....i went in & me & kim posed for one of us together with ryan as the photographer...the salesman almost jumped over the counter telll us that we could not photograph in the store... i was like this is f------ tiffanys for god's sake & proceeds to tell us... that the OTHER customers don't like to be in photos....especially when they are shopping.... i am like HELLLLOOOOOOOOO..... so i guess i just proved my point and he agreed that men that cheat on their wives shop at tiffanys for their girlfriends....cause if you were buying this shit for your wife... you should be gloating....i was like you are so anal retentive.....ugh.....

what inspires me.... nothing more than my family..... it has taken quite a bit of time for the men in my life to get me... i think they are finally starting to get "it" YES... there are some underlying issues...more like cryptic messages... don't try to understand... i am okay..living life...have NOT enjoyed being sick this past week..... working in an ER can be rough at times....had a complete meltdown at work last night...the hours are a killer but it is what works for now with my babies still being so YOUNG.... on the other hand..i never want them to grow up.... ciao Cindy
